Welcome to our web site.   In posting this site, my goal is to give you information about an often misunderstood condition that affects approximately 11 million Americans... temporomandibular disorder (TMD).  I hope that you will spend a few minutes to visit the several pages that are listed at the top left on this and on every other page.  It may look like a lot of reading, but if you will take a few minutes, I believe that you will have a better understanding of this pain condition, and will therefore, be better equipped to make educated decisions about the many treatment options that you will encounter.  Before we start, I must state that this information is just that... information.  To correctly identify your specific condition, specific diagnostic testing must be completed.
