Curriculum Vitae.

The Curriculum Vitae is a story of a person’s professional life. The two words come from Latin words that generally translate as the study of one’s lifetime. In actual form, it is a list of many of the major appointments, accomplishments, and recognition’s that have been bestowed over the years. In my case, much of my extra time has been spent in volunteer service with several organizations in our community, so I have also included many of those activities in this section. "Learn how a person spends his time and you learn to know the person".

status of the local public health dental program and suggestions for the future.

Dental Task Force Report to Fort Worth City Council
The Dental task Force was a committee of representatives from over fifty organizations,
Boards and commissions in the local community. This report, which I authored as chairman of the Task Force Committee, reported on the current status of public health dentistry in our community and gave suggestions for the future. The 52 page report contained detailed community demographics which demonstrated a continuing need for public health dentistry within the community. This study created a general community consensus which resulted in the establishment of the county wide public dental program funded and managed by the Tarrant County Hospital District. The report is cataloged in the Library of the American Dental Association. August, 1992.

The SmileCheck Project - A Final Report.
A final report giving the results and demographic data collected from the massive, community wide dental screening project conducted in joint co-operation between the Fort Worth District Dental Society, Baylor College of Dentistry, the Dallas County Dental Society and numerous other allied organizations. The report, co-authored with Dr. Lars Folke, Baylor College of Dentistry, went to all participating agencies and groups who participated in the very large, Metroplex wide screening effort. This 90 page report of findings is cataloged in the library of the American Dental Association.

Finally, I have served for several years as the International Treasurer of that organization and am involved almost daily in their financial management.
